Ten of our Loughton team recently swapped the office for a 30-foot dragon boat, taking part in the Canary Wharf Contractors Fund (CWCF) Annual Dragon Boat Race 2026 at the Docklands Sailing & Watersports Centre.

Held every year, the race brings teams from across the construction industry together to compete on the water in aid of charities doing vital work across London and the UK. CWCF has been supporting good causes for more than 20 years, and in 2025 alone the Fund raised an impressive £200,000 for beneficiaries including Demelza Charity, London’s Air Ambulance Charity, St Joseph’s Hospice, Spread a Smile and the Construction Youth Trust, among others.

Our team shirts were designed and supplied by Keep Attacking, with valued suppliers Planners, Mapei and Quantum proudly featured on them in support of the day.

It made for a great evening of teamwork, competition and plenty of fun, all while raising money for such worthwhile causes. Thank you to CWCF for organising such an enjoyable event, and to everyone who paddled for Loughton Contracts on the night.
