Gavin Pettifer

Gavin is the Operations Managing Director at Loughton Contracts, with overall responsibility for overseeing the company’s internal operations and ensuring the efficient, consistent delivery of projects across the business.

With more than 40 years’ experience in the flooring industry, Gavin brings exceptional operational insight, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of project delivery. His extensive industry knowledge, combined with excellent planning and organisational skills, enables him to drive performance, maintain high standards, and support operational teams in delivering successful outcomes for clients.

Gavin joined Loughton Contracts in 2004 as a Project Manager and has progressed through the business to his current role, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the company at every level. Prior to joining Loughton, he owned and ran his own carpet outlet, providing him with valuable commercial experience alongside his operational expertise.

Outside of work, Gavin has two grown-up children – one of whom works within the business – and enjoys following his beloved West Ham United.
