Overbury Charity Quiz Night 2026
On Thursday 26th February, we had the pleasure of attending the Overbury Charity Quiz Night 2026.
With 100 tables made up of colleagues, partners, clients and friends from across the fit-out industry, it was a fantastic evening and a great reminder of the strong relationships and shared sense of community within our sector.

Most importantly the night raised an outstanding £524K+ for 20 charities. This is an incredible achievement and a real credit to everyone involved.
We were proud to represent Loughton Contracts on the night, and delighted to come away as the Overbury Charity Quiz Night 2026 Champions! With competition across 100 tables, the standard was high, which made the result even more rewarding.
A huge thank you to our Loughton team: Lee Smyth, Nick Perkins, Harry Jackson, Ross Cooper, Tom Lyons, Nathan Boyden and Lewis Tebb, as well as our guests Sean London, Louis Potter and Aidan Shaw.

Credit also to Overbury for delivering such a well-organised and impactful event, and to Richard Goddard, David Duffy, Tom Osmond and Barry Parrot for hosting with Mark Durden Smith doing an excellent job as compere.
A special mention must go to Richard Goddard and David Duffy for the time, effort and care that goes into making this event happen each year. The night clearly holds deep personal meaning for them due to their close connections with the charities supported, and that passion shines through in every detail. The scale, professionalism and heart behind the event are a testament to their commitment.
And of course, no mention of the night would be complete without highlighting Tom Osmond’s memorable singing performance, made even more iconic by the now-legendary sequin jacket. We can’t wait to see him rocking it on site next!

While we’re delighted to have brought home the trophy, the real winners are the 20 charities who will benefit from the £524K+ raised. Seeing so many people from across the fit-out community unite in support of such important causes was genuinely inspiring.

The 20 charities supported in 2026 were:
- Stonewall
- Advance
- Stroke Association
- The Children’s Trust
- The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
- Help for Heroes
- The Indee Rose Trust
- Small Steps
- Literacy Pirates

- London Youth
- Garden House
- Make-A-Wish
- Article 25
- Held in Our Hearts
- St Clare Hospice
- The Respite Association
- Charlie Waller

A brilliant evening, a brilliant industry and a result everyone can be proud of. We’re already looking forward to next year.
