Jared joined the business in 2015 to manage and develop our timber flooring division, having previously owned a successful flooring installation business. Utilising his specialist knowledge of timber flooring, and experience of working on high profile projects, Jared played a key role in Loughton Contract’s growth in the wood flooring marketplace.
As Group Technical Director, Jared now works closely with leading architects and our sales team on early design concepts for large projects. Overseeing all technical aspects of the business he is constantly reviewing and improving the companies internal processes to ensure we are always accurate and efficient.
Outside of work Jared still enjoys his love of cycling & coaching, puts on the lycra when he can and still turns up for the odd Regional race! He is also a Trustee of Europe’s largest cycling specific venue, Cyclopark in Kent, and played an instrumental role in designing the MTB course, used prior to London 2012 Olympics. Having three sons, 22, 18 & 6, he is kept busy when not at work.
Nick entered into the world of flooring at the tender age of 16 and quickly fell in love with the industry. Having worked for various flooring companies he eventually joined Loughton Contracts in 2014 as a Sales Manager. He is extremely passionate about the industry and even describes himself as a self-confessed “carpet weirdo”!
Over his many years working in flooring he has built up a wealth of experience in a variety of disciplines such as management, estimating and sales. He recently became a member of The Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) and is a qualified Chartered Construction Manager.
As Divisional MD of our Fit-Out Division Nick oversees our sales & estimating team and works closely with clients, designers, architects and suppliers. Nick has a proven track record of securing prestigious, large scale flooring projects across the UK.
In his spare time, Nick enjoys watching Luton Town, playing golf and spending time with his fiancé and two sons.

Gavin is our Group Operations Director or GOD as he is jokingly known in the office. Working from our HQ his role gives him a full overview of the operational side of the business. Gavin’s excellent project planning skills and in-depth knowledge of the flooring industry means he is perfectly placed to ensure smooth delivery of all our projects.
Gavin has been in the flooring industry for the last 40 years and this time has allowed him to build strong relationships with both our clients and supply chain. He joined Loughton Contracts back in 2004 as a project manager and has subsequently progressed through the business to his current role. Prior to working for Loughton Contracts he owned his own carpet outlet.
Gavin has 2 grown up children (one of whom works for the business) and his interests include watching his beloved West Ham Football club.

Ian is affectionately known as Harry. It’s a tribute to his wizardry in financial accuracy and forecasting. With construction industry experience and as a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified accountants, he keeps our business financially stable and secure. He’s proactive, so not your traditional accountant. A family man with two children, two step children and three grandchildren, Ian now enjoys playing golf at the weekends (and as often as he can!) as his footballing days are sadly behind him, although we hear he now plays in goal at 5-a-side. He is a keen Spurs fan and still has high hopes that just one day they will lift a trophy!
