Loughton Contracts worked with Overbury Core to supply and install new floor coverings to the London offices of Investment Service company, Warburg Pincus. The project included the supply and installation of over 700m2 of timber flooring, 100m2 of sheet vinyl and over 1,200m2 of new carpet.
A feature engineered timber, from Havwoods, was specified by the architect, T.P. Bennett, to fill the large reception area. The bespoke panels created a unique and stylish pattern that was framed with a plank border of the same timber.
Plush carpet tiles were situated within the timber flooring, framed with antique bronze trims, to create guest seating areas within the reception.
The wide corridors that draw you through the building featured a carpet, framed by engineered timber planks. Antique Bronze floor trims, supplied by C.A.T. Accessories created a clean, crisp transition between the hard and soft finishes. Meeting rooms were furnished with carpet tiles to give a soft, luxurious feel and assist with the space’s acoustics.
Carpet tiles by Modulyss and Balsan were installed through out the project, offering an understated quality that was in perfect harmony with the spaces design.
Additional seating and breakout areas featured exquisite rugs from The Clerkenwell Rug Studio, that sat on the surface of the timber flooring.
